Ways To Save Money As A Bride

Make the guest list shorter.

best wedding photographerDon’t ever make the huge mistake of inviting everyone you happen to know. Half of them probably won’t care for you and for your partner as much as you would like them to and more than that, you probably don’t like most of them to begin with so it will really turn out to be a moot point in the first place. You will be far better off at keeping things intimate and at making sure that you get to go out of your way to more or less only invite the people who actually mean anything to you and to your partner when it all comes down to it.

Keep the guest list short and you will be able to do the same and keep your expenses short as well.

You don’t have to overthink it. Go with the people that matter the most to you and to your partner or people that you absolutely cannot live without during the day of the wedding and you are pretty much set. Take note of the fact that you will be bringing in the best of everything from the best venue to the best food, to getting the best wedding photographer to capture the photos, and so on and so forth. It will not be a cheap endeavour and the odds will turn out to lay better in your favour if you make it a point to limit the people that you would actually like to invite to the big wedding day.

Go off peak and save thousands.

An off peak wedding date can save you from a lot of expenses. A wedding is already expensive enough, so to speak. Booking it during the hectic peak season will double or perhaps even triple that over and that’s actually something that you will be able to get out of one way or the other if you make it a point to go ahead and play your cards right while you are at it.

Pick a slow month.

Study the market and the area that you are in and you just might be able to give your wedding budget that extra much needed stretch and cover more costs. By all means, still go for the best out there. Pick out the best planner, the best wedding photographer, and so on and so forth but book them on an off peak season and you will always be far better off compared to when you didn’t book during  a particularly slow time of the year.

Hold everything in one venue.

When you hear “all inclusive”, that term should already turn out to be magic to your ears. It means that you can have the ceremony and the venue all in one place, saving tons of money somewhere along the way. Only a few of these venues offer this out so pick them wisely and try to be as selective as you can. ask them about it too.

Say no to a Saturday wedding.

Saturdays just aren’t worth it, to be honest. You might think that you are doing your guests a favour but in return, you will be punishing your budget for the wedding. it costs so much more and venues are most likely filled up, too so opt for a weekday wedding and reap the benefits in the form of savings and perhaps even freebies and other add on services and products.
